We are seeking a Business Analyst to the US Custody and Clearing business.
Responsibilities include
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, in-person visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis (as applicable)
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
- Drive and challenge business unit and customers on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
- Leverage strong analytical and product management skills required to gain a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into applicable operational requirements
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates and standards
- Collaborate with implementation teams, supply lines and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs
Requirements
- Significant operational experience in financial services, specifically asset servicing, tax and settlements within the Custody and Clearing
- Must have experience with Data Analyst, Process Mapping, User Documentation, Root Cause Analysis and Gap Analysis.
- Preferred candidates with working knowledge of process design, business readiness, test planning and solution design
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles
- Professional project management qualification
- Experience of working in a large scale change environment
