Job DescriptionDescription: As a Business Analyst/Product Manager on the Prime Services Technology Team, you will work in a fast-paced team setting, alongside industry experts. You will be an expert in cross-functional, end-to-end delivery that spans Prime Service technology across all platform line of businesses which are Cash and Synthetic Prime Brokerage, Outsourced Trading Desk and Securities Finance. In this role, you will represent the Technology team, and face off to multiple stakeholder groups including Front Office, Prime Service Operation, Trading desk as well as Margin Operation teams, to integrate, build out and document cross product margin system (Advent Syncova Integration). You will oversee delivery of new enhancements and fixes and prioritize the book-of-work, ensuring the Development team is adhering to project plans. You will document testcases across Cash and Synthetic PB Margin systems performing test checkouts as necessary. What you'll bring with You:
- Experience in Equities capital markets/Prime Brokerage space
- Good Financial understanding of Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and Swaps
- Strong understanding with Trade Life Cycle
- Knowledge of Margin rules and concepts (Reg-T, Portfolio Margin, Enhanced Leverage, etc.)
- Knowledge for firm and client Risk factors and concepts
- Recent experience managing or overseeing technical projects.
- Experience conducting requirement analysis, documenting business requirements & functional requirements, and driving issue remediation.
- Exposure to multiple project management methodologies including, but not limited to Agile and Waterfall
- Experience in successfully delivering business and technology projects with an understanding of product development lifecycle.
- Development productivity tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, TFS, or other)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of regulations and OTC derivatives and securities transactions is a plus.
- High motivated and self-starter
Responsibilities:
- Align projects and communication into project plans and resolve conflicts and escalate when needed
- Work with others in this discipline on cross-team initiatives
- Stand-up work items and team management structure for development and support of technology platforms
- Understand client's challenges and issues; document resolution options and go forward plans
- Provide BA support to the Equity Prime Services (Cash and Synthetic) group.
- Work with other related and wider technology teams within Jefferies
- Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Provide status reporting to management and business partners.
Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $150,000-$200,000. The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
