Job Description: Lead Guidewire Initiatives that include projects, improvements, maintenance and regulatory changes as a Business Analyst. Conduct Pre-Inception & Inception workshops to define strategic value maps, product roadmap and feature list for Guidewire product in alignment with Guidewire best practices and guiding principles. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business solutions and business requirements. Analyzes, identifies, and writes detailed description of user requirements, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify Guidewire product. Analyzes complex ideas or proposals and build recommendations. Makes recommendations for business process improvements with a detailed understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to technology needs. Assists with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient. Documents end user requirements for data, reports and analyses, training, data quality, and performance. Knowledge of reporting tools and databases. Strong knowledge of business information data sources and business data rules. Prepares analysis for production support of systems and applications and associated documentation. Exhibits strong business knowledge and builds strong customer relationships. Acts as a liaison between business and IT. Develops and maintains knowledge of customer's business. Coaches and trains Team. Acts to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills. Must be self-motivated and take initiative. Preferred: Guidewire Certified Associate - Insurance-Suite Analyst and Guidewire Certified Professional - Policy-Center Business Analyst certifications. Preferred: Basic/intermediate level knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter and Claim-Center Applications will be accepted until December 13th ,2024 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $88,000- $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
