Job Description:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for market research and analysis to generate insights and recommendations for commercial strategy. This position will process and analyze Specialty Pharmacy, Distributor, Managed Markets Insight & Technology (MMIT) data sets, including reimbursement claims, formulary coverage, pharmacy and medical benefit information, using a variety of statistical methods. Previous experience in managed markets, pharma market access ecosystem, or commercial health insurance industry is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage operational processes to onboard Specialty Pharmacy Data
  • Understand data aggregation and integration processes to identify and resolve data issues
  • Analyze large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns
  • Use advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to synthesize conclusions that will guide strategic decisions
  • Conduct market research, gather and interpret data, execute analysis to develop meaningful insights
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by management
  • Provide strategic insights to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, and provide support in decision-making processes

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum 3 years of professional experience in market research, marketing analysis, consulting, pharmaceuticals, or managed care industry
  • Deep understanding of managed markets, pharma market access ecosystem, or commercial health insurance industry
  • Proficiency in Managed Markets Insight & Technology (MMIT) data
  • Experience in Specialty Pharmacy & Distributor data
  • Salesforce experience preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must have organizational skills with the ability to communicate across all departments
  • Ability to work independently and adjust priorities to achieve accurate and timely results
  • Strong analytical mindset, verbal and written communication skills, and problem solving experience
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and perform in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel pivot tables and v-look-up, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and aptitude for continuous improvement and change
