Job Description:

We are partnered with a global financial services firm who is seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst to support their North American Sales and Trading teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance custom and ad hoc reports using SQL and Tableau to support the decision-making processes of the sales and trading teams.
  • Leverage Salesforce to track and manage sales activities, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize sales performance.
  • Assist the CRM team with system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, and testing
  • Work closely with sales, trading, research, and IT teams to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions that drive business performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data quality checks and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and work collaboratively to implement changes that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of Salesforce, SQL, and Tableau for their reporting needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a business analyst role, specifically supporting sales and trading teams within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce. Knowledge of the “Tier1 Capital Markets Solutions” CRM add-on would be a bonus.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Strong skills in Tableau for data visualization and report building.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
