Posting Close date: September 20, 2024 The opportunity US Operations Program team is committed to the delivery of centralized programs and services to support safety and operational excellence. We are seeking an energetic individual to transform how we asset manage operational tools , equipment and vehicles across US Gas Operations. Reporting to the Manger, Programs Services, the business analyst will develop strategic data analysis to implement a multi-year asset management plan for tools, equipment and vehicles including utilization monitoring, inventory management, and demand planning. The role will also be responsible for functional activities required to support the delivery of the annual programs including cost management and reporting metrics. They will collaborate with key stakeholders including operations, operations services, and supply chain to ensure effective delivery of services, while developing efficient strategies to meet operational requirements. What You'll do
  • Extract insights from complex data sets to identify and develop opportunities for efficiencies and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across operations to gather business requirements, alternative analysis, demand plans and decision summaries to gain alignment on process improvements.
  • Implement business and operations processes across the affected groups. Develop objectives, budgets, schedules, execution plans and change management deliverables to support implementation.
  • Monitor performance of programs through the development of Key Performance Indicators, dashboards, and progress reporting.
  • Prepare and present annual program budgets and monthly cost reports and trends to stakeholders.
  • Communicate strategies and plans to the organization at varying levels, including front line, peer stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Work in a team environment, supporting the business collaboratively and consistently within a service delivery model.
  • Organize and complete activities on multiple projects concurrently and in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or other technical discipline
  • 10 or more years of related experience in operations, program management, business analysis
  • High level of expertise with Microsoft programs including Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with strong conceptual thinking and the ability to construct narratives concerning the meaningful opportunities and challenges facing our business
  • Demonstrated ability to identify gaps in processes and identify alternatives, work in a team to evaluate options and drive respective gap to closure for holistic solutions
  • Proven ability to analyze and effectively communicate data story to teams and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively present information to senior leaders and stakeholder teams
  • High organizational acumen - understands how company is structured, the roles and responsibilities of various departments, and what teams need to be consulted when executing program or projects
  • Team player; demonstrates effective collaborative working relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge and expertise utilizing SAP and Excel
  • Power user experience with Power BI, Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to assess continuously changing resource demands and make suitable adjustments to existing plans with limited management guidance
  • Experience working with senior level leadership and management level customers
