Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join their team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Purchase Order Management, Budget, Planning, Forecasting, and Process Improvement of our Clients Cloud Supply Chain Engineering Group to ensure the efficient allocation and utilization of financial resources in line with organizational goals and objectives.

Day to Day

Assisting with Department Fiscal Budget:

  • Maintain comprehensive budgeting processes, including the creation of annual operating budgets, long-term financial plans, and ad hoc analyses as needed.
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to gather relevant financial data, assess budgetary needs, and develop realistic budget targets.
  • Monitor budget performance against established goals and benchmarks, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Overseeing Purchase Order Management:

  • Collaborate with PO Owners to create and maintain Purchase Orders for the greater group
  • Working with suppliers and vendors and being the point of contact to move purchase orders through approvals, ensuring there is no holdup in the approval process.
  • Streamline and automate PO process
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency, implementing best practices and leveraging technology where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies related to budget management and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate cross-functional alignment and achieve organizational objectives.

Skillset: Advanced Excel, Tableau/PowerBI, SQL

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or any other related field.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
