Reporting Structure
The Business Analyst reports directly to the VP, Financial Planning & Analyst.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
* Monitor and analyze sales performance, including sales forecasting, inventory management, and profitability metrics
* Monitor SKU and category performance and productivity.
* Conduct detailed planning & financial analyses and generate dynamic sustainable reports to support decision-making processes.
* Work closely with Finance, Planning, and IT teams to address complex problems and ensure cohesive strategy implementation.
* Assist in the development and execution of financial and product planning strategies.
* Develop and maintain large, sustainable models in the companies' planning & finance platforms (Anaplan, MS Dynamics, others).
* Utilize SQL, Power Query, Power BI, and other data manipulation tools to manage and analyze large datasets.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications/Experience We're Looking For:
* Bachelor's degree in Operations, Planning, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* 2-3 years in planning, analytics, or a related field. Experience in the fashion or retail industry is a plus.
* Proficiency in SQL, Power Query, and other data manipulation tools.
* Familiarity with automation and dashboard creation using Anaplan, Power BI, Adaptive, MS Dynamics, or similar platforms.
* In-depth experience with modeling and data analysis.
* Solid understanding of financial statements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
* A desire to continuously improve, learn, and innovate to help the company build its capabilities
