Job Description: Responsibilities: Lead or engage in requirements gathering/JAD sessions, working closely with Project Manager(s), SMEs, Vendor and Business Users. Define and document requirements and use cases comprehensively. Troubleshoot application and/or interface issues as they arise. ddress reporting issues through effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with the user community and vendors to ensure adherence to implementation timelines. Support application/project go-live. Demonstrate a high level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e., Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process). Gathering detailed requirements that completely define the project. Develop high-level models and user prototypes to identify and validate business processes and solutions as needed. Facilitate reviews, approvals, and sign-off sessions for business and functional requirements. Oversee and coordinate end-user testing activities. Strong communication skills. Initiate and manage workflows for reviewing and approving deliverable documents and communications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables. Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges. Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience. Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, SharePoint and Visio). 5+ years working in a Business Analyst position. Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements; determining business solutions and verifying solutions meet requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Kentucky Healthcare Programs (i.e., Medicaid). n understanding of healthcare enterprise systems (including, but not limited to claims, finance, members, providers), with the ability to understand and communicate from a business and technical perspective. 5+ years working in a Business Analyst position for a large-scale IT system. Certified Business Analysis Professional Certification (CBAP).
