Participate in project teams within as assigned business unit or corporate department and utilize various technology platforms. Collaborate with business partners, and other technical staff to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.ResponsibilitiesUnder the leadership of another IT Professional, partners with business and technology subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business needs into system requirementsDocuments requirements and establishes scope.Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specificationsPartners with business and quality assurance partners during acceptance testingProvides information that can be used to create user manuals that describe application configuration and operating proceduresIndependently partners with business and technology subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business needs into system requirements.Understand methods for dealing with requirements changes and their impact on testing and product qualityManages multiple projects simultaneously.Assists Managers to coordinate project resources to ensure projects are delivered on time.LocationRichmond, VirginiaQualificationsAssociates degree, or equivalent, preferred in area of specialtyRequires 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related areaProject Management ExperienceExperience in meeting facilitationExperience in writing software requirementsAbility to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work productsAssists with the creation of business cases and effort estimatesIntellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners within project teamAbility to partner with software engineers and quality analysts to identify course of resolutionsUnderstanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)Understanding of modeling techniques, such as unified modeling language, etc. Great Place to Work & Grow Your CareerCome join us as we transform the public sector!
