Job Description:

We are currently hiring a Business Analyst for our client in the Houston, TX area.

The Opportunity:

Our hard-working Facilities Team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our team in Houston TX to support the needs of the Customers we support.

Work will include general duties such as budget analysis, assignment of project costs, purchase order requisitioning, invoice management and coding, management of facility employee databases, security badging, and floor plan management.

Duties include but not limited to:

Extensive use of SAP and will require experience in development spreadsheet documents to support findings.

Meeting room bookings, timesheet/expense entry, facilities systems support, database updates for staff changes, manage team correspondence, and other administrative duties.

Works with employees, contractors, and vendors to provide security, financial, and payment data.

Perform back-up badging activities related to access security for employees and contractors

Manages work through exercising judgment in approach on more complex and confidential work.

Manage employee records through the assignment of security access and notification of employee terminations and monthly analytical responsibility with department budget.

Use SAP to create, track and monitor purchase orders, invoices, project budgets and costs, and employee status and location information.

Use AutoCAD to update floor plans for Houston, Charleston and multiple field sites as required - prepare and upload into Planon.

High School Diploma minimum.

Minimum 2-5 years of progressive experience in related field

Advanced computer skills particularly with Excel, MS Word, SAP

Working knowledge/understanding of Planon and Genetec an asset

Excellent interpersonal, organizational oral and written communication skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Experience with invoice payment and tracking of budgets

Working knowledge of operational projects and ability to prioritize work and follow through

Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines

Ability to apply skills and knowledge to changing issues and situations

The drive to learn and succeed

Proven Team player and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships

Proven Customer service excellence

Preferred qualifications:

Certification or working experience in AutoCad is required

Working experience with floor plans

Experience within the Energy industry

Experience with security badging and over-seeing small projects
