Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support our Corporate Finance, Budgeting, and Reporting teams. This role will focus on gathering requirements, analyzing financial data, and leveraging technology to optimize financial processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance-related systems, including SAP / Hana, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in reporting, budgeting, and overall financial data management. Key Responsibilities: • Work with Business Process Owners (BPOs) in Corporate Finance to gather and document IT requirements related to budgeting, reporting, and financial data systems. • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and user stories for development teams. JIRA and Scrum knowledge. • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to ensure thorough understanding of business needs and system requirements. • Analyze financial data from various sources (Oracle, SAP HANA, Teradata) to generate insights that inform budgeting and reporting decisions. • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using tools like SAP, Hana, and Excel. • Identify trends and opportunities for process optimization based on data analysis and reporting. • Support the integration of financial data between corporate finance systems (SAP, Hana), data warehouse, and other business applications. • Identify and address system gaps or inefficiencies in financial processes, working with IT and business teams to implement improvements. • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data across systems. • Assist in the development and maintenance of budgeting systems and processes. • Work with finance teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy in financial reports and forecasts. • Support the tracking and analysis of financial performance against budgeted targets. • Work closely with business and IT teams to prioritize and resolve issues related to financial systems and reporting. • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. • Provide regular updates to management on system performance, project status, and improvements. • Gather feedback from users to identify opportunities to improve the usability and functionality of financial systems and reporting tools. • Recommend solutions to enhance user experience and drive efficiency in financial processes. Required Qualifications: • Strong understanding of corporate finance, budgeting, and financial reporting systems, with experience in SAP and Hana. • Proficient in data analysis tools, financial reporting software, and system integration. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools for managing requirements and backlogs. • Excellent communication skills to translate technical information clearly for non-technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical skills to generate insights from financial data and optimize reporting processes. • Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT teams to implement financial system improvements. • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data. Education: Bachelors Degree
