About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering solutions that drive operational efficiency and enhance client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and Improve Processes: Evaluate commercial banking workflows, identify gaps, and recommend actionable solutions to optimize efficiency.
- Gather Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements.
- Data Analysis: Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and provide meaningful reports to business units.
- Project Support: Assist in managing projects related to product development, process re-engineering, and technology implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with relationship managers, operations teams, IT, and senior leadership to ensure business goals are aligned and achieved.
- Technology & Tools Integration: Identify technology solutions that improve commercial banking services, such as cash management, lending, and trade finance.
- Compliance and Risk: Ensure that solutions adhere to commercial banking regulations and risk management standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Commercial Banking or financial services.
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products (e.g., loans, cash management, trade finance).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) and process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart).
- Experience working with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, MS Project) is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
