And we're growing! The Role Our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group is looking for a Business Analyst / Product owner to join our journey. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product/ BA focusing on financial messaging standards, particularly ISO 20022 with payments backgroundWe're looking for Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. Responsibilities •Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for SWIFT payments and ISO20022 initiatives. •Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements. •Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, workflows, and data requirements related to SWIFT payments and ISO20022. •Gather requirements from business units and translate those to developers and architects and testers •Documents functional requirements (in the form of user stories), analyzes requirements in the context of software and processes •Possess a deep understanding of SWIFT payments, ISO20022 standards, and related financial messaging protocols. •Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies. •Data analysis and coordinate with QA and UAT teams •Work with development and support teams on production issues as needed •Working with the product/business team and end-users to deliver functionalities while maintaining quality. •Refining business requirements, prioritizing the product and sprint backlogs into actionable stories. •Act as a liaison between product teams, business users and technical teams to deliver tangible outcomes Qualifications •Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. •An MBA or related advanced degree is a plus. •5 years of Business Analyst/ Product Owner with payments background -(SWIFT ISO 20022 projects) in banking & financial services industry •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders. •Strong understanding of financial messaging standards, particularly ISO 20022. •Experience with payment systems and financial messaging platforms. •Experience with business requirements gathering and documentation. •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. •Experience in Agile methodologies •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
