Translates user needs and requirements into functional and technical requirements. Develops tests scripts and assists business staff in confirming that technical work products deliver the stated requirements. Assists in the development and documentation of workflows and ensures software alignment with business processes. Reviews technical specifications, proposed upgrades and enhancements, assists in the development of technical and functional work plans, scopes of work, and correlates business processes to available and potential future system functionality. Perform other required duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications / Substitutions / Preferences High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and six (6) years of experience developing functional and technical business process documents.ORAssociate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science or a related discipline, and four (4) years of experience developing functional and technical business process documents.ORBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science or a related discipline, and two (2) years of experience developing functional and technical business process documents.Must posses/obtain:Satisfactory background check which includes criminal, education, and employment history. Valid State of Alaska Driver's License with satisfactory driving record at time of hire.PreferenceWorking knowledge of Windows Operating systems as well as Microsoft Office products. Working knowledge in advanced concepts associated with business analysis, including but not limited to: functional and technical requirements, testing methodologies, test script development, and change management. Must have a basic understanding of data structures, data queries and data query tools.
