The Office of Wildlife exists to provide wise stewardship of Louisiana's wildlife and associated habitats and increase wildlife conservation awareness. BUSINESS ANALYTICS SPECIALIST The successful applicant for this position will serve as the advisor to the Office of Wildlife Administration on matters concerning agency budget including preparing fiscal year budgets, tracking expenditures, and monitoring areas of concern. This position will also serve as coordinator of Wildlife Restoration funding and ensure compliance with federal rules and regulation in order to maintain funding eligibility. The incumbent will also be responsible for streamlining administrative operations logistics, and implementation of policies and procedures necessary to achieve the goals and mission of the agency. Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A baccalaureate degree plus three years of professional level experience in accounting; budgeting; contracts; economics; engineering; finance; financial auditing; grants; human resources; information technology; management analysis; operational auditing; policy planning; procurement; social services; statistical analysis; tax collections; or tax enforcement. SUBSTITUTIONS: Six years of full-time work experience in any field will substitute for the required baccalaureate degree. Candidates without a baccalaureate degree may combine work experience and college credit to substitute for the baccalaureate degree as follows: A maximum of 120 semester hours may be combined with experience to substitute for the baccalaureate degree. 30 to 59 semester hours credit will substitute for one year of experience towards the baccalaureate degree. 60 to 89 semester hours credit will substitute for two years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree. 90 to 119 semester hours credit will substitute for three years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree. 120 or more semester hours credit will substitute for four years of experience towards the baccalaureate degree. College credit earned without obtaining a baccalaureate degree will substitute for a maximum of four years full-time work experience towards the baccalaureate degree.
