BCP Analyst
Job Description:
Assess departments' business continuity plans and business impact analysis to ensure compliance with MUSO Policy & Standards and BCP Procedures. Work closely with department BCP Liaisons to update and enhance their Department BCP(s). Evaluate and recommend remediation/workaround plans associated with functions and resources. Assist business users to update the planning tool.
Analyze existing functions to identify the upstream and downstream dependencies and interconnection with other divisions/departments within the organization.
Everbridge data maintenance: Weekly contact device upload including formatting file for upload. Manage groups and rules to ensure contact coverage.
RecoveryPlanner data maintenance: Maintain key staff lists in Recovery Planner to ensure critical staff are identified correctly. Update static data related to resources.
Record and maintain minutes for BCP related meetings.
Application reconciliation (RecoveryPlanner/SNOW, RecoveryPlanner/Archer (Third Party).
Assist with crisis management and incident response.
Develop a working knowledge of all areas of MUSO and the ability to develop a clear understanding of its business processes and resources.
Assist with the coordination of BCP Exercises. Document, monitor and respond to any reported issues.
Develop and maintain an understanding of current BCP techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 -2 years of BCP experience in preparing Business Continuity Plans and Business Impact Analysis preferred
Experience in Financial Industry or related field.
An understanding of information technology concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite / applications (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
Very strong analytical skills.
Must be able to interact and work efficiently and effectively with employees across the organization.
Ability to work independently.
Strong verbal/written communications
Must be detail oriented, ability to work independently, and have strong organizational skills.
The expected base salary is up to $95,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
