Job Description:As a Business/Data Analyst, you will manage data processing and reporting projects to support client reporting requirements. You will lead efforts related to system data clean-up and conversion activities and oversee the preparation of data. This role also involves responding to ad-hoc data requests, managing monthly People Stat reports, and supporting system-wide data integrity during the transition to a new statewide system. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple data projects and initiatives across the project team.
- Manage submission and tracking of system defects and change requests related to assigned data sets, including Data Warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements by managing processes and timelines.
- Manage data quality initiatives for data fields and monitor risks impacting project timelines.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customer representatives.
- Investigate and resolve business operational and software issues reported by users.
- Prepare status reports and communicate effectively with customers, software/hardware vendors, and third-party stakeholders.
- Monitor the work plan to ensure deadlines are met and the work progresses as planned.
- Facilitate risk escalation and work closely with the leadership team to address risks and issues impacting projects.
- Act as a liaison with the application team to improve requirements understanding and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Lead and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations in-person and virtually, as required.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
- 7 years of experience in developing business, functional, and user requirements for IT systems.
- 7 years of knowledge in business analysis processes, principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proven knowledge of data processing and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle with a focus on user requirements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with diverse user groups.
- Fluency in English with clear communication both orally and in writing.
- Relevant experience related to Project Management principles and processes.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry. cyberThink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
