About The RoleWe are seeking a Business Development (M&A) Analyst who will work closely with the Head of Corporate Development to identify, engage, and manage relationships with target businesses in numerous behavioral health verticals. This role is akin to an account executive, focused on prospecting and nurturing leads, facilitating deal flow, and ensuring alignment between acquisition targets and corporate strategy. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-motivated, and outgoing professional with a strong background in business development, M&A, or healthcare technology.Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with prospective target companies through cold calls & cold emails.
- Sourcing and scraping of information to curate strategic acquisition target lists.
- Tracking and reporting progress on target company outreach efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts that will help achieve company goals.
- Research and analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
- Service the Corporate Development team with any ad-hoc or special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales, Investment Banking, or Operations roles.
- Prior exposure to healthcare or technology spaces preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Google Drive products.
- High level of emotional intelligence and situational awareness.
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and improving operational processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-oriented and team player.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to pivot priorities, and self-educate on potential new markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deeply-rooted work ethic and the desire to continuously improve.
- A willingness to work 5 days a week in our NYC office with a fully in-person team.
CompensationThe estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. Total compensation for this position may also include stock options. Note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
