Work Shift:DayPay Type:SalaryHourly Rate (if applicable):N/ATargeted Base Salary Range (if applicable):$75,300.00 - $97,700.00JOB OVERVIEW:We are seeking a dynamic, skilled and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to support the Walmart account team in Bentonville, AR. This role will work closely with the account lead to drive business growth through forecasting, analysis, syndicated data management, and ecommerce development. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator with a focus on supporting strategy, contributing to presentations, and identifying growth opportunities. This is a hybrid role based out of Bentonville, Arkansas.RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSupport Walmart Account Lead:
  • Assist the account lead in managing the Walmart relationship, including preparing for key meetings and executing business plans.
  • Collaborate with the account lead to ensure alignment on business objectives and account strategies.
  • Provide day-to-day support on account management tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Forecasting & Analysis:
  • Support the account lead in developing accurate sales forecasts by gathering and analyzing relevant data.
  • Conduct analysis on sales trends, market conditions, and competitive activity to provide insights.
  • Assist in creating actionable reports that drive informed decision-making.
Syndicated Data Management:
  • Manage and interpret syndicated data sources (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) to support the account lead in tracking market performance.
  • Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports, ensuring the account lead has access to up-to-date insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, enabling data-driven decisions.
Ecommerce Development:
  • Drive the development and execution of ecommerce strategies for Walmart's online platforms, supporting the account lead.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions on Walmart's ecommerce sites.
  • Monitor ecommerce performance metrics and provide recommendations for improving sales and conversion rates.
Strategic Support:
  • Contribute to the development of the overall strategy for the Walmart account.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify potential growth opportunities and collaborate with the accountant lead on evaluating and pursuing them.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to support key initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency on key projects.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account support, or a similar role within the CPG industry.
  • Experience supporting major retail accounts, with a focus on Walmart preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in forecasting, data analysis, and syndicated data management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
  • This is a hybrid role based out of Bentonville, Arkansas.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • Master of business administration degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce platforms and strategies is a plus.
  • Prior experience supporting Walmart
