EPM creds boosted with acquisition of Qubix in 2023.You will have excellent access to Oracle teams for early prospect engagement - Oracle public sector sales, business development, alliances, Oracle Consulting, Customer Success Services.You will be able to utilise the strong relationships we have with 3rd party advisory firms with market influence.You will be able to maximise our investment in market intelligence tools - contracts coming up for renewal, recent expenditure.You will be to enhance your cross selling and strategic account planning opportunities with the rich vein of Public Sector customers in other portfolios (Data, Digital, Cloud/Irish Public Sector/Utilities) with focus and support at the highest levels.Job DescriptionThis role will be part of a successful and growing commercial team focused on Public Sector within the Oracle Enterprise Applications business (covering Oracle SaaS and Applications Unlimited). You'll be delivering large sales opportunities and supporting client relationships. You'll drive sales through working with existing customers and net new business.You'll also be responsible for:
  • Leading the full sales cycle, from lead generation, pre-qualification processes, bid preparation and submission, demonstrations and close.
  • Identifying new opportunities for Enterprise Applications through market knowledge, customer relationship development and by leveraging the Version 1 network, using targeted marketing campaigns, events, and direct calling initiatives.
  • Close collaboration with Version 1 technology partners and specialists (like Oracle).
  • Contract negotiation covering primarily implementation services and managed service sales but also including license/hardware sales, and other consulting services with support from the relevant teams.QualificationsTo be successful as a BD Director you'll:
    • Be able to demonstrate your experience operating in a Technology Services environment in a similar organisation.
    • Have practical experience selling to the UK Public Sector, such as: Central Government, NHS, Utilities and more.
    • Share and exhibit your leadership abilities and how you've built and maintained successful and motivated teams.
