Role Overview:

As a Business Development Lead, you will work alongside our Practice Leader to prospect and generate sales revenue by performing inbound and outbound sales for Data Analytics & AI related advisory services. The role will have a focus on generating leads within Insurance, Financial Services, and Healthcare industry sectors. You will own the process of lead generation and tracking client outreach.

*This role is remote position located in the United States

Responsibilities

+ Generate leads within Insurance, Financial Services, and Healthcare clients to grow Data Analytics & AI sales pipeline

+ Meet or exceed quarterly set sales goals and objectives

+ Establish new customers and grow existing customer accounts

+ Manage inbound inquiries (via phone, email or online chat) from potential leads

+ Make outbound calls to identify sales opportunities

+ Responsible for entering and maintaining customers information, accurate weekly revenue forecasts, referral source and competitive intelligence data into our CRM database

+ Takes ownership of personal technical skills to keep pace with changes within the marketplace and increase your number of sales opportunities

+ Cross-sell/Upsell maximize each opportunity/account

+ Proactively identify new opportunities and work with management to effectively track ROI

+ Schedule and attend sales calls, customer meetings and presentations with your assigned Account Directors

+ Maintain active engagement with new and existing prospects through creative follow-up communications designed to nurture client interest and maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce.com following our sales and marketing processes

+ Partner with business development to align the prospecting strategies in the market and meet annual revenue targets

+ Utilize Social media and news sources to identify prospective client pain points and needs

Qualifications

+ Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or another business-related field

+ 5+ years of Data Analytics & AI sales experience

+ 5+ years Industry experience within Insurance, Financial Services, or Healthcare

+ Experience working with professional services preferred

+ Experience in handling sales inquiries using phone, online chat, and email

+ Desire to build a pipeline of opportunities and close deals as well as utilize sales cycle methodology, account, and relationship development methodology

+ Understanding of sales tools: Salesforce, ZoomInfo, etc.

+ Ability to thriving in an unstructured and evolving team and organizational environment

+ Ability to travel 25%+ or with little notice

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Bright Labs, an Ankura Company, is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the said markets and considers a broad range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The range does not include additional benefits outside of salary. At Bright Labs, an Ankura Company, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each role. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range is between $85,000 to $200,000; this range is not a promise of a particular wage.
