Our client is a New York-based information technology and consulting company focused on the financial services industry including capital markets, insurance, banking, cards & payments and digital. Seeking a seasoned Business Development Leader to join their team. This candidate will be the sole support to Synechron's current client Mastercard. They will be responsible for growing and maintaining current relationships as well as building new one's within Mastercard and helping Synechron to grow and expand their business as a vendor with them. This person must be willing and able to be on-site at least 2-3 times a week, walking the floors of clients, wining and dining clients at companies' expense, enthusiastic, hungry and passionate for this role. Although this person will be selling Synechron and all their services from start to finish the sales process they will have support from the SMEs to help speak on any technical or advanced terms they may not be familiar with. They will be heavily involved with clients as well as working with their internal team and must have a hunter mentality. Their key responsibilities will be to develop and execute strategies for account mining/farming, hunting, sales, and business development to drive revenue growth and expansion within the BFSI domain. Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients through account mining/farming activities, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational objectives. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceed client expectations. Stay abreast of industry trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to adapt strategies and seize opportunities. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales within the IT services industry, with a focus on the BFSI domain. Proven experience in a role involving account mining/farming, hunting, sales, and business development within the BFSI domain, preferably in the IT services industry. Strong understanding of BFSI industry trends, challenges, and regulatory environment. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure. Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
