About the Position:Epic Specialty Staffing is looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building new client relationships, and expanding the Strategic Business Unit's (SBU) market presence by securing new accounts and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
About Us:Epic Specialty Staffing offers staffing solutions for direct hire, interim management, locum tenens assignments, and remote treatment planning. We are a comprehensive cardiovascular clinical staffing partner for hospitals around the country.
What You'll Do: - Solicit, recruit, and evaluate potential new business focused on the long-term goals of the SBU.
- Act as liaison between the SBU, the client facility's staff, and the internal team responsible for the implementation and ongoing service of a client facility.
- Maintains client contacts lists, networks, and active conversations throughout the SBU-related industry, both in person and remote, to place the SBU in a position to participate in all desired business and opportunities.
- Identify and follow-up on potential new business and the successful pricing, negotiation of terms, negotiation of contracts and closing of accounts determined to be advantageous to the SBU.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new accounts and existing accounts; sell and build rapport with the executive team, including Vice Presidents and C-Level Executives.
- Create an effective process and information flow between the business development team and other departments.
- Identify and secure new business/network & increase penetration and sales within existing accounts.
- Monitor market conditions and activities of competitive firms to ensure competitive pricing and provide feedback to management regarding market opportunities.
- Work with departmental leaders to bring creative solutions to prospective clients and build the businesses' client list.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to accommodate division and company goals.
What You'll Bring: - 5 years of sales and management experience, preferably in healthcare staffing and/or consulting services.
- Surgical sales experience is required, preferably in the field of Perfusion or Cardiac surgery field.
- A bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university (Perfusionist equivalent to a 4-year degree) is strongly preferred.
- Perfusionist/Perfusion experience strongly preferred.
- Should be open to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Possess an overall knowledge of business functions and understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and job's impact to the organization.
- Work independently, see business needs and proactively accomplish them for the betterment of their team and the organization.
- Analyze work, set goals, develop plans of action, utilize time.
- Attend to the needs and expectations of customers.
- Affect or change others' positions and opinions.

Salary: $125,000 AnnuallyBusiness Development Manager Full Job DescriptionThe starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
