  • Responsible for peptide process development and GMP scale up manufacturing sales with new customers.
  • Focus on working with Biotech and Pharmaceutical companies on New Chemical Entity (NCE) asset projects.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closure, meetings, and achieving sales targets.
  • Negotiate and close business opportunities.
  • Leverage existing and create new connections and continually build a network within the industry, by actively participating in networking events, industry conferences, and professional associations to expand our business network.
  • Prospect for new customers and continue lead generation activities to identify new opportunities within the Biotech/Diagnostics/Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop effective sales tools and presentations to enhance the sales process.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, leveraging security expertise to understand and address their unique needs.
  • Devise and implement comprehensive business strategies with marketing and BD team to drive growth and enhance market presence.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify strategic business opportunities.
  • Grow and drive sales of the peptide services to achieve sales goals for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, including ISO and GMP as needed.

  • MSc in Chemistry and/or biotechnology background with basic knowledge of peptide chemistry. (PhD preferred)
  • Previous experience in business development within a CRO/CMO or pharma company resulting in a demonstrable understanding of the pharma industry.
  • Existing network of key manufacturing decision makers in North American Pharmaceutical, biotech and diagnostic companies is an asset.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
  • Successful track record in selling of GMP products/services - preferably in drug substance would be desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience in Territory/business Management is essential
  • Willing to make frequent trips abroad (up to 40% - mainly US/EU) and in possession of a driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and writing command in English language.
  • Software skills, Office, SAP.
  • Knowledge of peptide synthesis is an advantage.
