The BD Manager will lead growth with focus on Navy and Defense Cybersecurity services and solutions.TDI is an industry leader in Cybersecurity Performance Management (CPM), Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Cybersecurity Operations supported with our Cybersecurity product, CnSight®. Position is part of TDI's leadership team and will have a seat at the table regarding company vision, growth strategy, and planning.We will consider a candidate willing to travel as needed regularly to the DC/VA area and other customer locationsRESPONSIBILITIES:Lead business development activities to research, analyze, identify and qualify new business opportunities resulting in winning those opportunities growing company revenue.Build and maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities aligning with TDI's strategic cybersecurity growth vision and customer account plans.Engage customers (mission and government contracts) in identifying and shaping potential opportunities using knowledge of company capabilities, customer relationships, contract vehicles/acquisition strategy and past performance.Execute strategic win themes. Acquire competitive intelligence and participate in developing winning technical solutions.Understand and utilize TDI services and products, strategic partnerships, vehicles and past performances.Be results driven. Work well in a highly productive, highly accountable, small team environment.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree and 4 years business development IT government services experience (will accept 4 years additional work experience in lieu of degree). Minimum of 2 years' experience in cybersecurity government services.Experience identifying and shaping relevant technical opportunities including IT cybersecurity services and solutions.Proven record of successfully shaping technical opportunities and building customer relationships within Navy, Air Force and ArmyProven record of relevant new business wins. Prefer portfolio of submittals and awards that include experience in all types of government contracts (FFP, T&M, Cost Plus) and full array of capture strategies (e.g., net new business, incumbent capture, sole source).Established customer relationships with a variety of government agencies in the cybersecurity sectors of the Navy and/or Air Force and Army.Highly effective interpersonal skills working with and presenting to customers, company technical leaders, business executives and industry partners/teammates.Ability to simultaneously manage and execute identification and qualification for multiple opportunities.Proven ability to form and maintain strategic industry partnerships with large and small businesses in the federal market.Travel: you must be able to attend business development meetings and conferences in-person.
