Job Description:

As a New Business Development Manager/Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and securing new business opportunities within the banking or financial services or insurance or manufacturing, and warranty sectors. You will utilize your knowledge of IT services and industry-specific challenges to identify, engage, and convert prospects into long-term clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build and maintain relationships with senior executives, develop tailored solutions, and work collaboratively to exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities for IT services in the banking or financial services or insurance or manufacturing, and warranty sectors.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client base and grow revenue.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, and senior leaders in target industries.
  • Understand client business needs and pain points to present customized IT service solutions that drive digital transformation and business growth.
  • Lead sales meetings, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, product) to ensure proposed solutions are aligned with client needs.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on pipeline and progress toward sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to generate leads and promote brand awareness.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documentation.
  • Manage and track sales activities using CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, HubSpot) and ensure timely follow-ups.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in new business development and sales, specifically in selling IT services or technology solutions to banking, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, or warranty sectors.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific IT challenges and trends, including digital transformation, Data services, Automation, Cloud solutions, and Quality Engineering, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and grow revenue through new business acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and present tailored IT service solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex decision-making processes in large organizations.
  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
