THE ROLE: Business Development Manager - Google Cloud SLEDJob Summary: As a Google SLED, Business Development Manager, you will combines industry expertise and knowledge with innovative business and technology solutions to further our partnership with Google Cloud across our SLED market. Presidio is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to facilitate demand generation and brand awareness campaigns, organize and assist in the delivery of in-person or digital customer events and support the Presidio SLED leadership and field sales team to scale our growing partnership with Google Cloud. We would prefer a candidate who has some experience working in the public sector space and/or has previous Google Cloud partnership knowledge they can bring to this role. Travel Requirements: In this role you will be expected to travel up to 20%. Job Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with Google Cloud Public Sector organization:
    • Partner Development Manager
    • Sales Leadership and management
    • National Practice BDMs
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Presidio sales organization in support of sales objectives:
    • Sales Leadership and management
    • Field Sales AM, Client Directors, Sales VPs
    • National Practice BDMs
    • Local Presales SA and CSA Teams
  • Develop and deploy plans and strategies to grow Google Cloud pipeline opportunities.
  • Participate in sales planning activities such as QBRs and account planning sessions.
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material and other documents as required.
  • Present and market the business value of the Presidio Solutions Portfolio to Google Cloud.
  • Present and market the business value of Google Cloud to Presidio sales teams.
  • Participate in development of messaging/branding standards for Presidio solutions portfolio for Public Sector.
  • Garner and grow key relationships with Google Cloud - both technical and sales. This includes thorough understanding and participation of the Partner Programs:
    • Presidio Partner brand and standing (Partner status, accolades, awards)
    • Funding Programs
    • Pricing, discounting programs, and procedures
  • Content access - create and execute presentations and enablement/training.
  • Understands contract utilization and buying cycles of public sector customers.
Required Skills:
  • 3-5+ years relevant work experience in Public Sector, Cloud solution selling or business development.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
Additional Desired Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • 3-5+ years relevant work experience in Public Sector, Cloud solution selling or business development.
