Hiring Opportunity: Canton OH ***Hybrid Schedule*** Our client is looking for a Business Development Individual to join their team! Our client is celebrating over 75 years of manufacturing success within the metal fabrication and tube bending space and show no signs of slowing down. The Business Development Engineers main functions will be client acquisition and retention promoting our clients functions within the manufacturing industry. Qualified individuals will need to have a college degree with a strong technical or sales background within the world of manufacturing and engineering. Job Requirements Responsibilities: - Builds new business by identifying and selling prospects. and maintaining relationships with clients. - Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching, and analyzing sales options - Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, recommending solutions. - Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements. - Identifies improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors - Must facilitate conversations with customers while maintaining confidentiality regarding H-P s manufacturing processes - Must keep all process owners informed of any customer requirements that stretch or are outside HP capabilities - Review all contracts or substantial negotiations with the President and Business Unit Manager/Sales Manager before any agreements - Must facilitate conversations with customers while maintaining confidentiality regarding H-P s manufacturing processes - Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes - Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. - Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies • Qualifications:: - College Degree - Demonstrated sales or technical background within manufacturing and engineering - Experienced with calling on clients at the executive or decision-making level - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Outstanding computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and internet applications. - Strong customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to interact with customers at all levels throughout their organization. - Self-starter with excellent time management, multi-tasking, strong problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
