JOB SUMMARY The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a vital role within the sales division, focusing on generating new business opportunities to drive success. BDRs are tasked with prospecting, lead qualification, and laying the foundation for our sales team to secure new business. Leveraging diverse approaches including cold calling, email outreach, networking, social media, and participation in industry events, BDRs pinpoint potential clients and introduce them to our innovative solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs high-level outbound discovery calls to prospects matching the Ideal Client Profile
  • Conducts thorough market research to pinpoint key players
  • Collaborates on email campaigns with Director of Sales and Director of Marketing
  • Qualifies leads generated from marketing initiatives as sales opportunities
  • Initiates contact with potential clients through targeted cold calls and emails
  • Arranges meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
  • Tracks and records activity and ensures data is accurately entered and managed within the CRM
  • Utilizes sales tools effectively to deliver comprehensive information to prospective clients
  • Ensures all actions are in alignment with overarching sales strategies
  • Works efficiently under pressure, meeting tight time constraints
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to constant improvement and a drive to meet both short- and long-term goals
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • College degree in business, sales, marketing or 2 years equivalent work experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in lead generation, sales, or customer service
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and any other standard software related to Sales & Marketing
  • Willingness to learn about our products and services
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and high energy level
  • Comfort in cold-calling and speaking to prospective clients
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
