Business Information Developer Consultant – HEDIS AnalyticsLocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one to two days per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Cincinnati, OH, Wilmington, DE, Woburn, MA, Durham, NC, Tampa, FL, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, Richmond, VA, Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT or Louisville, KY.The Business Information Developer Consultant – HEDIS Analytics is responsible for developing and executing more complex data mining analyses and for the delivery of annual and monthly HEDIS results while ensuring that projects include the required data for state and regulatory reporting. The role will be a contact for HEDIS software updates and internal team deliverables and will also manage the data integration for multiple markets into the HEDIS software.How you will make an impact:Determines how decision support systems will provide the data required to make effective business decisions.Performs modeling of information sources and flows.Coordinates the activities of a project team and monitors project schedules and costs for own projects.Develops strategic report applications from the data warehouse.Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.Develops and supports complex data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.Manages multiple contracts to ensure regulatory and state reporting.Tracks, identifies issues, reviews, and analyzes data for contracts.Supports state and regulatory reporting.Manages all software and audit support.Manages PCMS project and supports the production of Scorecards.Ensures that data from production runs get loaded to data warehouse.Manages all measures and population reports for all Medicare projects.Maintains HEDIS timelines used to support the Medicare project plan.Minimum Requirements:Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 4 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:HEDIS knowledge including HEDIS value sets and specifications experience strongly preferred.Experience with HEDIS Certified Software strongly preferred.Experience with Tableau strongly preferred.PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software including SQL and Excel strongly preferred.Experience manipulating large sets of data strongly preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.Experience with government-based insurance programs preferred.Project management experience preferred.Medicare experience preferred.Please be advised that Elevance Health only accepts resumes for compensation from agencies that have a signed agreement with Elevance Health.
