Responsibilities JOB SUMMARY: The Account Executive/Sr Client Advisor plays a critical role in the retention and cross selling process for business clients of OneGroup. The Account Executive interacts with clients on a daily basis strengthening and maintaining relationships with our clients and our carrier teams. The role requires taking the lead as a point person on the account as well as the liaison of the client team, proactively communicating client expectations to the sales and service team. Develop and manage all aspects of the client relationship by partnering with the sales team in strengthening the client relationship and building client revenue through deep sell opportunities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Independently, or in collaboration with a sales professional and placement, manages new and renewal meetings with designated clients including the coordination of roles and obtaining the information. Help manage the renewal process and coordinate service plans (for required accounts) including renewal marketing in a timely manner. Work with designated sales and/or servicing team to identify the opportunity to account round with designated clients. Work with Business Insurance personnel on prospective accounts to obtain information necessary to put submissions together in order to obtain quotes from insurance companies. Maintain knowledge and familiarity of available markets. Take the initiative to stay abreast of all industry changes and trends, regulations, and insurance provider products/services. Review new business and renewal submissions for coordination of the appropriate coverages. Assist in preparing a presentation-ready proposal, quote and summary in the agency approved format. Assist sales professional in generating new business opportunities. Keep agency management System up to date with relevant correspondence and other relevant documents in a timely manner and according to agency workflows. Routinely provide support to ensure consistent resolution of client service issues. Immediately (within 24 hours) respond to necessary requests from designated sales and/or servicing team. Pursues prompt client payment in coordination with the sales professional. Requests cancellations from the carrier according to agency workflows. Act as a mentor to others to contribute to their personal development. As well as providing guidance and direction to client advisors and less experienced account executives as needed. Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development. Continue to provide client service to accounts where applicable. Perform other duties as required. TRAVEL: May require overnight travel for client meetings and will require travel to client locations. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor's degree, preferred Professional Certifications/Licenses: Property/Casualty License required If licensed, maintain Agent/Broker License through continuing education CIC, CPCU or equivalent designation preferred Experience/Skills: Minimum 6 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience required Prior experience in all insurance functional areas to include sales, service and marketing preferred Working knowledge and competency in use of agency management system, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other software as required by position Ability to work independently Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills Assertive, self-confident, and able to make independent, sound decisions.
