You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.See Yourself as a Business Intelligence Analyst IIAs the Business intelligence Analyst II you are tasked with developing business intelligence and other analytical solutions to manage the Radian MI business as well as recurring reports that support external reporting requirements. The focus includes pricing, new business trends, portfolio surveillance, MI operations, as well as reporting that supports financial disclosures, investor reporting and regulatory reporting. As the successful candidate you will have extensive business knowledge, a strong technical and analytical knowledge base that allows them to operate with a high level of autonomy to solve increasingly complex business problems.Individuals on this team have exposure to all aspects of the mortgage insurance business and are responsible for shaping the direction of how business intelligence is deployed, the data is best presented, summarized, and distributed. You will partner with multiple areas of the company to understand both the subject area and analytical needs as well as partner with other teams to ensure the data required for reporting and analytics is available, standardized and used properly. You will be primarily responsible for developing business intelligence using Tableau to support Radian MI business.See Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts to develop reporting using BI tools like Tableau and QlikView to enhance existing reports and provide more insightful reporting and analytics.
  • Leverage knowledge of the business, data, and analytics to arrive at recommendations on opportunities to leverage data and to identify opportunities to fill in data gaps.
  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of existing automated reporting packages.
  • Creates presentations, reports, and communicates strategic business findings to senior management.
  • Manipulate large data files using SAS and SQL Server to identify trends, make business recommendations, and to provide data extractions to business partners.
  • Proficient with SQL, SAS and / or other data analysis software (Python, R, etc.)
  • Work well with external and internal customers and provide clear directions on objectives, outreach strategy and next steps.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
See the Job Specifications Your Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:Degree Requirement: bachelor's degree or Equivalent ExperienceWork Experience: 4 or more years of prior work-related experienceAdditional Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years' experience with expert programming skills (SAS, SQL, Python) and demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts/techniques.
  • 2-3 years of Tableau dashboard development experience
  • Experience with UiPath
  • Good problem solving and data management skills with abilities to digest vast amounts of data, manipulate it, and identify correlations through a variety of statistical techniques.
  • Exhibits passion about making a difference and able to perform responsibilities with a great deal of autonomy.
  • Key competencies in critical thinking, problem solving skills, and planning and organizing work.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts verbally and in writing to colleagues with varying degrees of analytical knowledge and understanding. Excellent presentation skills (including oral and written) and ability to create meaningful management reports from various sources.
  • Training / experience with Microsoft Office products; very high-level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Competitive Compensation: anticipated base salary rate from $63,800 to $91,200 based on skills and experience. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program and a long-term incentive program.
