IGT has approximately 10,500 employees.Candidate must live in or near Sacramento, CA.As a Business Intel Analyst III, you will design, build, and deploy updated and/or new BO reports into production while also providing direct support to the customer including training and meetings with users. This position should have expert level understanding of lottery data and advanced analytics. The candidate must be familiar with designing and building Business Objects reports and be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle. This position is both internal and customer facing, and the candidate must possess the ability to listen and communicate effectively with the customer daily.Responsibilities: Design and build Business Objects reports to meet Lottery requirements following the Software Development Life Cycle.Assist Lottery staff with BO reporting questions or perceived issues.Troubleshoot BO report issues and work with engineering teams to present logical solutions.Provide quarterly BO training to Lottery staff.Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.In collaboration with others (site team, customer, or engineers), interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings.Assist and work with Operations to troubleshoot or resolve internal report issues.Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of extracted results or data sets.Perform basic statistical analyses for data sets and reports.Generate routine and ad hoc reports based on requests from the Lottery or internal site team.Collaborate with cross functional teams like business, marketing and technology and deliver the required data analysis.Qualifications: Bachelor's, or equivalent, (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field) and 4-6 years, or Master's, or equivalent, and 2-4 years, or Doctorate and 0-2 years.Lottery or Gaming background or experience.Knowledge/Skills: Experience using Business Objects reporting using WEBI and Crystal Reports.Must be able to create Webi Universes.Very good understanding of business workflows and aligns them into data analytics and reports.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of statistics is a plus.Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.Must be able to effectively listen and communicate with Lottery staff both verbally and in written form.Preferred: Experience with SAP/Business Warehouse a plus.Experience with SQL/Access/VBA/Tableau a plus.Keys to Success: #LI-JM1IGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected and engaged. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $85,398 - $120,437. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
