Spalding Consulting, Inc.is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer in Lexington Park, MD. Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services firm specializing in Information Technology (IT), Program Management, and Financial Management for the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and commercial clients. Position Type: Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Design and develop Qlik and Tableau Reports/Dashboards within an Agile environment.
• Utilize ETL concepts to transform data for reporting.
• Work closely with the DOD customer within an Agile team in identifying metrics and analyzing data for use in BI Reporting.
• Test and validate data in reports developed both by the developer and other team members.
• Participate in resolving technical issues that arise during development.
• Communicate and coordinate with members of the development team to work across multiple projects
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:Required:

• At least one year of experience developing reports and dashboards with Business Intelligence software such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI or similar BI development product.
• At least one year of experience working on a team with 3 or more developers.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL, or Teradata databases.
• Experience in an Agile development environment utilizing tools such as JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors).

Desired:

• Experience in ETL and data modeling.
• Experience working on government funded programs.

Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline is required.
