Job DescriptionBusiness Intelligence DirectorLocation: St. Louis, MOPay: Starting at $130,000 - $150,000About the RoleJoin GardaWorld's Customer Service Support team as a Business Intelligence Director! You'll lead a team dedicated to providing valuable insights and supporting business decision-making. This role is crucial in driving our data-driven strategies and enhancing decision-making across the organization.What You'll Do
  • Lead Projects: Manage projects to create reports and analyses that address key business issues.
  • Collaborate: Work with various departments to identify and develop business intelligence initiatives.
  • Manage Resources: Ensure your team has the tools and training needed to create effective dashboards and reports.
  • Make Staffing Decisions: Allocate resources and make staffing decisions.
  • Strategic Input: Provide strategic recommendations to support business goals.
  • Review Performance: Develop and lead a process to review metrics and performance.
  • Create KPIs: Identify business requirements for key performance indicators.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Partner with other departments to create ad hoc reports and analyses.
  • Innovate: Find opportunities to improve how we use data to increase profits.
  • Govern Data: Lead the governance of digital data assets.
  • Lead Initiatives: Provide strategic leadership on large cross-functional projects.
  • Ensure Security: Enforce IT policies to protect data and maintain security.
  • Develop Frameworks: Work with IT to create data collection frameworks and pipelines.
  • Automate: Build tools to automate data collection.
  • Develop Models: Create predictive models and algorithms to optimize business processes.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and share knowledge with the C-Suite.What We're Looking For
    • Data Analysis Skills: Proficient in data visualization, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
    • Business Acumen: Understand business processes and goals.
    • Leadership: Experience managing a team of analysts and data professionals.
    • Technical Skills: Familiar with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, and programming languages like Python and SQL.
    • Communication: Able to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Problem Solving: Passionate about driving business value through data.
    • Mathematical Foundation: Strong understanding of statistics and probability.Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.
      • At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence.
      • 3+ years of managerial experience.
      • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
