Business Intelligence Team Lead
*This is an in person position at our Victor, NY office. We are a fast-growing company in search of a high-energy Business Intelligence Team Lead to join our team. This roles primary functions include but are not limited to, managing the day to day activities, setting goals for resolving data requests, assisting with training the team members, being a knowledgeable source of information for team members, resolving escalated requests and providing feedback to the team members. Team members and the Team Lead will be servicing data requests from stakeholders, managing internal and external (customer) reporting in the Microsoft Power BI and Excel environments, providing database support, and developing/implementing cross-functional process improvement updates to tools and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assign out incoming ad hoc requests and projects to the team based on priorities, skills and timelines.
- Managing priorities and timelines from Customers, Vendors and Senior Leadership team.
- Provide Updates to Senior Leadership and other groups
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor KPIs and other metrics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization through data analysis and evaluation of current workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, statistics, mathematics, or similar discipline.
- Strong Leadership and organizational skills
- Self-driven and proactive approach
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience working in end-user support and reporting
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office/Office 365 environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience of Oracle NetSuite and Salesforce
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other data analytics platforms.
- Technical understanding and an ability to translate technical requirements and specifications into easily understood business concepts and vice versa,
Compensation details: 80000-100000 Yearly Salary
