Pay: $130,000 - $150,000/yr. The BI Manager is ultimately responsible for the collection, analysis, and utilization of data to support decision-making across the EMCS organization. This role manages a small and agile BI team, working with department leaders such as merchandising, operations, and sales to identify growth or at-risk opportunities and trends. Some of the key responsibilities include managing and designing the BI infrastructure utilizing the Microsoft Power platform, overseeing data architecture and mapping, report development, and ensuring data quality. This role also involves managing data-governance, scalability of BI systems, assisting users in understanding complex data/reporting, developing BI strategies that align with business needs, and maintaining a BI roadmap. Candidate must reside in the Atlanta, GA metro market. Some of what you'll do the BI Manager:
- Oversee the creation of reports, visualizations, and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Oversee and guide a team of BI analysts and developers, providing mentorship, training, and fostering professional growth.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and security of data. This includes establishing data governance practices and policies.
- Design and implement scalable data models, warehouses, and pipelines that support efficient data collection and reporting.
- Work closely with business units, understanding their data needs and translating those into BI solutions.
- Present data insights to stakeholders, helping them understand complex data trends and guiding data-driven decisions.
- Analyze business trends and metrics to provide recommendations to senior management.

You will be a great fit if you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar field is required with at least two years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in or supporting a retail/c-store organization.
- Proven experience working with Azure.Experience managing BI or data-related projects from concept to implementation.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering reports, dashboards, and visualizations to various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer and team-oriented management.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priority.
- A record of anticipating customer needs and giving high priority to customer satisfaction and service
- A record of anticipating future consequences and trends accurately and creating new and innovative approaches to activities enhancing performance.
- The ability to contribute and direct innovation and troubleshooting for other related departments for cross coordination of large projects and complex business impacting service issues.
- An ability for Infrequent travel for in-office visits, professional training/conferences, and presentations.
