Our client is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join their dynamic team! This role will oversee the financial and accounting activities of a growing organization dedicated to serving its community. Located in the Albany areaResponsibilities of the Business Manager will include:
- Manage financial policies, budgeting, and reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports.
- Monitor daily transactions and ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare tax forms and assist with annual audits.
- Liaise with banks, creditors, and auditors.
- Maintain personnel records and administer employee benefits.
- Oversee IT services and assist with chamber events as needed.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Business Manager :
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience; not-for-profit experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and computer skills.
- Proficient in QuickBooks; HubSpot experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently or in a team.
