Job Overview: The Grand at Delaware Park, a leading Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Office Manager to join our team. This critical role will oversee the daily operations of the office, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in healthcare administration, and the ability to lead and manage office staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee administrative functions within the facility, including billing, and collections.

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.

  • Maintain resident accounts, process payments, and manage AR (Accounts Receivable).

  • Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports.

  • Handle customer service inquiries related to billing and payment.

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation for billing and reimbursement.

  • Support the admissions process, including verifying insurance coverage and handling resident contracts.

  • Responsible to ensure timely completion Medicaid and other financial applications.

  • Responsible to maintain record of facility census.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility environment, preferably in an office management or billing capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing practices.

  • Proficient with office software and healthcare management systems.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Strong leadership and staff management abilities.

  • Familiarity with HIPAA and other healthcare compliance requirements.
