MQ Substitution - a Juris Doctor, master's or higher degree in a related field can substitute for one year of specialized experience.Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:Under the supervision of a Business Officer 2, the Business Officer 1 will perform, coordinate and monitor facility business office activities; and assist in planning and administering support service operations. The BO1 will oversee Sunmount Fiscal Services Auditing and Accounts Payable, including Capital Funding.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Duties include but are not limited to:•Financial Management of Capital Funding Projects •Provide training and technical assistance to staff; specifically, in the State Finance System (SFS)•Work with OPWDD Contract Management Team to establish agency level contracts for Sunmount•Process Contract Payments for Snow Removal & Lawn Care Contracts & act as Contract Liaison for these services•Oversee E-Settlement process and work with the Business Service Center (BSC) to ensure timely vendor payments, which also includes the Vocational Services Payroll•Compile Statistics and develop reporting tools•Other duties as assigned#LI-AK1#LI-NB1LinkedIn: Additional Comments OPWDD is committed to creating and sustaining a culture of inclusion. HELPS Program titles may be filled via a non-competitive appointment. This means that you do not need to take an exam to qualify, but you do need to meet the minimum qualifications of the title. If you are hired under the HELPS Program, you will be first be appointed as a temporary employee. If you are performing successfully in the position, your appointment will be changed from temporary to permanent non-competitive. Once you are in permanent status, your official probationary period will begin and you may take any promotion exam for which you are qualified. At a future date (within one year of permanent appointment), employees hired under NY HELPS are expected to have their permanent non-competitive employment status converted to permanent competitive status.
