The Business Operations Manager for the Center for Autism (CFA) is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: Support the business and administrative responsibilities for the CFA. The Business Operations Manager demonstrates the ability to identify and implement best practices, works independently, thinks strategically and plans for long term success. The position is responsible for supporting a combination of financial, quality, safety, marketing, and personnel management at the various CFA locations, as assigned by the Business Director and in conjunction with the CFA Leadership Team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is not intended to be an exhaustive listing of job functions.This job description is in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.The employee is required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties as assigned.
- Provides leadership to Center and Administrative staff.
- Acts as key oversight on all Center for Autism payroll/timekeeping matters
- Works in partnership with key organizational Executive Leadership team members on strategic planning and implementation of statewide growth of CFA.
- Establishes policies and procedures for Administrative and Business Functions including annual review and updates. Monitor staff adherence to standards.
- Connects and maintains relationships with Hope Network Administration Teams (Revenue Management, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Foundation, and Executive Leadership).
- Responsible for the processes and procedures of scheduling consumer services in the EMR.
- Works closely with clinical leadership and administrative team to provide insight and guidance on all active client enrollment and attendance.
- Responsible for accurate consumer registration and demographic information in the EMR. Develops processes that prevent errors and omissions.
- Acts as key resolution agent for all program-level EMR change submissions and corrections.
- Develops processes for insurance eligibility and authorizations. Responsible for denials and appeals that result from errors and/or omissions.
- Develops vendor relationships and contract negotiations to support the overall quality for the facilities.
- Oversees purchasing and supplies for all center locations and for the administrative team.
- Oversees monthly cost center performance for areas of responsibility and provides recommendations for improvement.
- Leadership role in project management and coordination of new CFA Centers and or service offerings.
- Manages and coordinates organizational purchasing and plans for the long and short term.
- Communicates and/or reports all program and staff related issues/concerns that could potentially impact the effectiveness of treatment services with key partners of the organization.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position.
- Staff Training and Development
- The Business Operations Manager will complete all required CFA Service trainings specified by position.
- Work with Business Director to ensure proper development, functionality, and reporting of the Electronic Medical Records in order to support best business practice.
- The Business Operations Manager will attend and participate in leadership meetings as well as any other meetings as requested.
- The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for directly supervising staff, including, but not limited to schedulers and intake coordinators.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience with health care business management, outpatient preferred, including exposure to accounting, marketing, finance, HR, or other administrative disciplines.Valid drivers license with driving record acceptable to Hope Network policy.Considerable knowledge of effective leadership techniques, ability to organize, direct and plan.Demonstrated ability to manage resources, make decisions and exercise good judgment.Ability to supervise assigned staff to ensure quality and quantity of work and to promote professional growth and development.Demonstrated ability to review and maintain a facility budgetAbility to review and negotiate contracts that are financially sound.Demonstrated ability to use good project management skills.Ability to ability to articulate and actively support the mission, vision, and values of Hope Network to various audiences.Superior customer service skills.
