This position provides key management level administration of these functions. Work is governed by broad policy and procedure and incumbents in this role are expected to function with limited supervision. Incumbents must have demonstrated experience in managing complex accounting assignments which may include Epic, SAP software, and local government or healthcare business and accounting processes. The incumbent will work on developing polices, enhancing procedures, and improving efficiencies in these areas. Incumbent will also be held responsible for accurate and timely reporting and ensuring deadlines are met within the function areas. This position will identify fiscal risks, gaps, and other issues in processes and help find resolutions to improve overall performance, effectiveness, and efficiency where possible. Incumbent will be expected to coach, mentor, and develop staff as a member of the Office of Administration's leadership team.About the AgencyThe Prince George's County Health Department's (PGCHD) vision is that all Prince Georgians are their healthiest at every age and every stage.
