Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Business Operations Project Manager - GB is responsible for financial and data analysis in the areas of strategic expense reduction, budget impact analysis, monitoring of resource utilization and identification. Provides oversight for projects centered on expense management for the Great Bend Campus in collaboration with business unit leaders and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
* Demonstrates knowledge of the cost issues of the variety of internal and external resources.
* Support budgeted productivity standards and accountable for cost effective use of resources.
* Act as a role model for implementation of strategies for cost-containment.
* Partners effectively in projects assigned, communicating process design, outcomes and barriers to success within the division.
* Responsible for Great Bend expense benchmarking data tracking.
* Familiarizes self with current project management methodologies and partners when appropriate with Hospital benchmarking stakeholders.
* Performs all necessary QA activities regarding expense benchmarking data.
* Coordinates necessary resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Demonstrates knowledge of daily coordination functions.
* Collaborates with Great Bend Administrator and Leadership Team members for process improvement activities with inventory/supply management
* Demonstrates collaborative interaction with health team members to meet immediate and pending inventory/data needs.
* Coordinates process designs on assigned projects to include clinical and fiscal stewardship.
* Partners with the Supply Chain team to facilitate process improvement projects
* Oversees the Physician Quarterly wRVU process including establishing regular meeting cadence with each provider, compiling and distributing monthly wRVU reports, calculating quarterly wRVU bonus amounts, and responding to wRVU questions.
* Acts as primary resource to physicians on payroll, compensation, contract, CME, PTO and related questions partnering with appropriate UKP personnel as needed. Tracks physician PTO.
* Oversees the APP bonus process including compiling and tracking data to support the calculation of the bonuses, preparing bonus statements/documentation and responding to questions about the APP bonus process.
* Tracks APP CME utilization.
* Establishes process for Hospitalist/ER Physician tracking and Rural Health Clinic Encounter tracking, compiles and distributes related reports.
* Performs financial analysis and statistical analysis as requested by Great Bend Administrator partnering with Health System financial analysts as necessary.
* Participates in the budgeting process and acts as resource to Great Bend leaders on questions related to the budget.
* Participates in Great Bend FTE analysis.
* Establishes a cadence for reviewing financials with Great Bend leaders and performs such reviews.
* Liaisons with reimbursement team related to information needed for the GBH cost report and related submissions.
* Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
* Bachelor Degree Nursing OR
* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Management OR
* Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management
Preferred Education and Experience
* Master's Degree Nursing, Business or Health Care Management
* 5 or more years health care experience
