Join us, you will love it here ??!As Stemilt's Business Partner you are charged withcommunicating the department's strengths and areas in need of improvement, and how development will assist in the achievement of organizational goals. The Business Partner uses their strong leadership and problem-solving skills to analyze the organization's short-term and mid-term goals then creates and implements new HR programs that will fulfill any business needs. This position supports one thousand SG Stemilters, plus an additional one thousand Stemilters during Cherry season. It is required to deliver extraordinary customer service at all levels, in addition to assisting in the recruitment and talent management processes to obtain and support exceptional talent, communicate role expectations to the HR department, and conducting evaluations to ensure plans and projects are running smoothly. Exceptional communication skills a must.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic HR Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to influence decision-making and drive business performance.
  • Partner with HC Team in helping cross train in Safety, Security, and Worker's Comp items.
  • Act as a change agent to support organizational transformation and culture initiatives.
Talent Management and Development
  • Coordinate and support the Safety and Security program in the area of responsibility in conjunction with the area's leadership.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify talent needs.
  • Work with Talent Management leadership and our management to create plans and implement practices for Stemilters to thrive.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to build skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Elevate the relationship and understanding of the EFI process in the area of responsibility and give support and direction to EFI team where needed.
Stemilter Relations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and Stemilters on HR-related matters.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Foster a positive Stemilter experience and engagement through proactive initiatives.
  • Bridge communication between the company's leadership and the Stemilters.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Mitigate organizational risk by providing guidance on sensitive HR matters.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage investigations and audits.
Data and Analytics
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics to inform strategies and measure impact.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership on key workforce indicators.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with other HR functions, such as Talent Attraction, Total Rewards, and Engagement, to deliver seamless HR support.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Support a culture within the team that leads to ensure extraordinary customer service for all team members.
  • Hold self-accountable and ensure the development of self-leadership team culture.
  • Contribute to the team and the Company in various other ways when requested or required.

  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources as a Specialist, or Generalist
  • HR Certifications (PHR, SPHR, etc.) not required but preferred
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or related fields or equivalent education and/or related experience. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal/state employment laws
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with employee relations and EEO
  • Enjoys solving complex issues and thinking outside the box
  • Ability to identify and develop leaders
