Job Overview: We are seeking a Business Process Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams to manage and improve our data processes. Your primary goal will be to help transition our data systems to the cloud and modernize our legacy systems. This position requires a strong understanding of both technical data processes and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data strategies that align with business goals.
  • Transform manual legacy data processes into modern, automated systems.
  • Work extensively with cloud technologies, particularly Azure.
  • Collaborate with teams to retire old mainframe systems and migrate data to the cloud.
  • Manage and lead a team, with the potential to oversee the mainframe modernization team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong background in data engineering and business process reengineering.
  • Experience with cloud data architecture (preferably Azure).
  • Proficient in SQL and other data engineering tools.
  • Management and integration experience (e.g., APIs, microservices).
  • Azure certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months.
