NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle corporate office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.

From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customer love. And we have an opportunity for a Business Process Improvement Manager to join our team.
The ideal Business Process Improvement (BPI) Mgr. is a problem solver, change agent, and is committed to continuously improving the status quo. You will deliver business and technology processes supporting strategic initiatives for Nordstrom Product Group (NPG), and you will partner and collaborate cross functionally with stakeholders to identify ways to improve quality, speed, and low-value activities.
A day in the life
* Engage key business partners to develop future state processes for strategic program initiatives, taking into consideration all critical business aspects to support business solution.
* Leverage process automation tools and identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve processes.
* Synthesize complex processes for various types of audiences at different levels of the pyramid.
* Approach work with a solution mindset, identifying and prioritizing enhancements to existing process, systems, tools, and analytics.
* Drive process improvements through constant, iterative review of processes ensuring solutions meet current and future business objectives.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with NPG Technology and cross-functional partners to optimize process improvement that focuses on scalability and growth.
* Manage operational process design and improvement that focuses on designing a strong foundation to support the philosophy of the NPG organization.
* Use industry standard methodologies to conduct root cause analysis formulating problem statements, process assessments and a plan for improvement.
* Facilitate and support process design or improvement sessions with business end users providing them adequate support and training in Lean methodologies.
* Coach business partners on Continuous Improvement values and Lean principles to identify waste and deliver meaningful work to the business.
You own this if you have
* 4-year degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
* 5+ years related experience in Business Process methodologies and tools
* 2+ years of experience in product development and/or merchandising processes
* 1+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean principles
* Demonstrated project management skills, including strong organization and time management
* Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in process improvement tools (Mural, Visio), preferred

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
