- The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role involves analyzing and understanding business processes, defining the business requirements, and collaborating with the technical teams to implement the technical solutions. Business Analyst ensures the current technical solutions are aligned with the business needs and objectives, and continuously seeks opportunities for improvement. Business Analyst also ensures the solutions are implemented in a way that the maintenance and user support can properly be provided for the long term. In various Global Platform projects, the Business Analyst is responsible for defining the requirements, communicating the requirements to technical teams, executing the testing, and coordinating the release. Business Analyst facilitates external and internal communications with various parties throughout a project for successful project completion.
Technical Skills Required
- Data analysis with SQL and Excel
- Project Tracking tool (Jira)
Experience/Education
- 3-5 years' (mid-level) supporting global 3PL / Freight forwarding / NVOCC business.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline required.
- CargoWise / SAP / OTM beneficial, but not mandatory.
