The Business Relations Representative will assist counselors in the Unit office and deliver employment services to individuals with disabilities.

This position will work with persons with disabilities to assist with job seeking/job retention training, job placement, job coaching, and follow up services. The successful applicant assists in the placement of eligible consumers in compatible and competitive employment that is consistent with their interests and abilities. The incumbent works collaboratively with counselors and individuals with disabilities to determine appropriate vocational goals for consumers and identify the availability of similar positions in the community.
Job duties will include:
* Teaching employment marketing classes to job-ready consumers.
* Providing written and verbal feedback to counselors regarding the progress of referred consumers' efforts to obtain employment.
* Coordinating in-school work adjustment programs; meeting with local and regional employers to explain agency mission and goals and to determine their business needs in order to facilitate suitable job matches between employers and qualified applicants.
* Participate in job fairs and other community events to educate the public about services available, enhance service delivery and strengthen community partnerships so that individuals with disabilities will achieve suitable employment outcomes.
* Represent the work unit on boards/committees as appropriate and designated by the Unit Manager.

Bachelor's degree in a human services or business field such as human resources, marketing, business administration, business management, healthcare management, or public administration from an appropriately accredited institution;

Associate's degree in a human services or business field (identified above) from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of directly related work experience;
OR
High school or General Educational Development (GED) and four years of directly related work experience;
OR
