Primary responsibility will be to build a portfolio comprised primarily of family owned, community minded, and multi-generational businesses generating revenues between $500,000 and $1,500,000 annually and exhibit the strong desire for a banker to serve as a financial adviser.
- The Business Relationship Banker works closely with retail bank leaders in serving as small business adviser. To this end, the Business Relationship Banker is required to understand and communicate appropriate structure, terms, and conditions to the business owner. In addition, the Business Relationship Banker must develop or have several selected industries where they have intelligence and can build a niche.
- The Business Relationship Banker is expected to complete fifteen face to face meetings with business decision makers weekly.
- The Business Relationship Banker develops strong working relationships with the Retail Bank Market Leaders. Ideally, this relationship will lead to deeper relationships and higher share of wallet, including both commercial and consumer needs.
- By Friday each week, the Business Relationship Bankers reports summarily through the CRM system on results of marketing efforts.
- This position requires the Business Relationship Banker to have a high level of confidence in their advisory capacity with business owners. This is in line with one of our core strategies...Being the Trust Financial Adviser.
- The Business Relationship Banker works closely with Commercial Relationship Managers on referral opportunities with businesses needing in excess of $1,500,000 of commercial debt and/or those businesses which require a high level of servicing.
- The Business Relationship Banker develops strong working relationships with centralized small business lending unit and will accurately and fully document credit request packages.
